Jewel Tones for Fall 2010
Designers are offering a variety of Jewel tones in full force for Fall 2010. They are offering many different options for women, showcasing bold statements of color in monochromatic styles. These saturated hues of emerald greens, beet reds, deep purples and blue cobalt’s are bringing back a richness that has been missing from the cold-weather wardrobe the past few seasons.
Donna Karan, Oscar de la Renta and Phillip Lim are some of the designers that have been showcasing these bold colors in a variety of textures including sequins, shiny satins and velvets with the use of simple black accessories.

Women’s Wear Daily Turns 100

Today Women’s Wear Daily is releasing a special 100th anniversary addition of their daily magazine. This issue includes over 300 pages and 100 years of fashion history. It takes a look at the most influential designers of the past century including Coco Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld, as well as notable trends, First Ladies and their role in fashion, and the role celebrities have played over the years.
