Studio-808 can gets profiled by UR Chicago Magazine. “Fashion pioneer Erin Creaney of Lincoln Park reminds us of the precocious diaspora of talent and creativity among Chicago’s fashion elite with her local, online boutique Studio-808.” See the full article at UR Chicago Magazine.
When it comes to fashion, it seems that Chicago is the ignored middle child only to be outshined by its fellow siblings, New York and Los Angeles. However, this pretentious and tired understatement of style is insulting, considering that Chicago has produced some of the world’s leading designers: Brian Atwood, Cole Haan by Trafton Cole and Eddie Haan, and self-taught fashion designer Barbara Bates. Not to mention the city is home to some of the nation’s most prestigious and accredited fashion schools, such as the International Academy of Design and Technology, the Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, which ensures a constant stream of fresh minds and designs in fashion. We are not New York and we are certainly not Los Angeles. We are Chic-town with a firm grasp on what sets us apart from fellow fashion capitals. Fashion pioneer Erin Creaney of Lincoln Park reminds us of the precocious diaspora of talent and creativity among Chicago’s fashion elite with her local, online boutique Studio-808.

Studio-808, Inc. is the brainchild of Erin Creaney, a PR executive with a near-athletic enthusiasm for emerging designers. Finding herself searching the city for great designers with new and different looks, she knew a larger operation was in order. What's more, she felt the world needed to know about the fashion percolating in the Windy City. Thus was born Studio-808.com.
